About UK Emergency Aviation

UK Emergency Aviation was created in 2005 by Dan Smith, and despite being a student, I have an active interest in both helicopters and the aviation industry as a whole.

Starting out as a small site on Freewebs with details about the United Kingdom's police & ambulance aircraft, it has grown to what it is today - as of early 2012 there is now a photo of every operational air ambulance in the United Kingdom on the site, with only a few police aircraft left to go. It has grown considerably over the past 7 years, but the purpose and motives still remain the same.

My foremost goal is to expand the gallery size to include every police & ambulance aircraft in the UK. This will be through my own photos and those sent in - for more info on photos please click here.

It isn't run for financial gain (I thank Les greatly for providing the hosting!), and is here so that everyone can see what the airborne emergency services in the United Kingdom do every single day.
